Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include potential relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity and greater flexibility.

Integrative Massage

Integrative Massage Therapy is a treatment that involves the integration of therapy techniques from a multitude of massage modalities such as trigger point therapy, spot cupping, warm stones & passive stretching movements. Individual problem areas of the body can be targeted and addressed producing optimal results. This may include firm pressure applied in areas with more muscular tension.
 

Swedish Massage w/Hot Stones

Swedish Massage that includes the use of warm stones. The heat of the stones can soften the muscles further providing a deeper relaxation within the body. 

Choose a combination of basalt and salt stones.

Therapeutic Cupping Massage

Therapeutic Swedish Massage with moderate to firm pressure w/cupping on specific areas. 

Cupping is the combination of massage movements and negative pressure with the use of a suction device on the skin.  A cup is positioned at the area to be treated and a vacuum is created within the cup to draw the skin and underlying tissue into the cup.  The produced vacuum creates a suction effect that allows for the increase of blood and lymphatic circulation systemically and to the local area as well as relaxes muscle tissue, draws stagnation, pathogenic factors and toxins out of the body. This can release a myriad of pain and muscle tension. Therapeutic cupping can clear congestion and stagnation, drain and move fluids, relieve inflammation, create nervous system sedation, stretch muscle and connective tissues to include adhesions and return nourishing blood supply to the skin. Specific areas can be targeted using stationary and gliding movements with the cups.

Facial rejuvenation cupping is also available.

Reiki / Energy Alchemy

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body.  As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I intuitively work directly with your energy field to balance and provide support to your vital life force energy to include the chakras. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.  This also includes what I call... Energy Alchemy - gentle pressure at specific points that assist with the continued flow of your subtle energy bodies. Gentle neck, shoulder and foot massage is added for further relaxation. 

Aromatherapy Massage

Young Living's proprietary RAINDROP TECHNIQUE combines massage techniques with energy infusion using 6-8 organic essential oils mainly on the spine for a deeply rejuvenating and relaxing experience. This technique developed by YL founder D. Gary Young draws from his experience with Native American wellness traditions providing a means of nurturing harmony.  This has the potential to impact the body physically, emotionally and mentally for overall wellness.

The seven main essential oils used include: Oregano, Basil, Wintergreen, Peppermint, Thyme, Cypress, Marjoram & two blends.
